The most common duration for a corporate retreat is between 2 and 3 days, but it can vary depending on the team’s goals and the company’s availability.
In many cases, the retreat is structured like this:

- day 2: outdoor activities and moments of discussion
- day 3: final reflection and closing of the experience
The more time dedicated to the retreat, the more the quality of relationships and exchange among participants increases.
That’s why many teams choose 2 or 3 day formats, which make it possible to alternate activities, informal moments, and quality time together.
When and where do our corporate retreats take place?
A corporate retreat has no season and can take place all year round. We work throughout Italy in beautiful natural locations: from urban parks to regional parks, from beaches to marine protected areas. We choose the location based on the client’s needs.
We can also support the company in choosing the most suitable venue, taking care of location, logistics, and experience coordination to create a smooth retreat with no organizational stress.
Who manages the activities in our corporate retreats?
WildSteps retreat activities are managed by qualified professionals in outdoor experiences and experiential learning.
Our team includes certified environmental hiking guides, biologists, naturalists, and facilitators, who accompany participants during the activities and take care of every stage of the experience. This allows us to guarantee: safety and professionalism during outdoor activities, high-quality content linked to nature, local areas, and sustainability, and an engaging experience that is accessible even to those with no previous outdoor experience.
During the retreat, the WildSteps team also takes care of experience coordination and group facilitation, to ensure that every activity truly helps strengthen relationships, collaboration, and team well-being.
How many people can take part in a corporate retreat?
To ensure an effective and engaging experience, our retreats are designed for groups of at least 15 participants. Depending on the number of people, we can organize different experiences in nature. We have options for small groups (15–20 people), medium-sized groups (50 people), and large groups (up to 100 people). In any case, we evaluate every possibility based on the size of the work group.
What happens in case of bad weather?
There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad equipment! Before each experience, WildSteps experts assess the weather conditions that allow the activities to take place between 72 and 24 hours before the event date/time. In the event of adverse weather conditions that do not allow the activity to be carried out safely, the client can choose from the backup plans agreed upon when signing the contract with the company. It is therefore not possible to cancel the activity and request a refund. The activity is not canceled in case of rain; it is canceled only in the event of an Orange or Red weather alert, and in that case the event must be postponed.
Are the proposed activities suitable for everyone?
Our activities are carried out in complete safety and are suitable for everyone, from beginners to more experienced people. We assess the feasibility of the activities based on the needs of the work group.
How much does it cost? Are there any tax benefits?
Before organizing a retreat, it is useful to have an idea of the budget the company wants to invest. This allows us to design the experience in the most effective way possible, choosing the activities, location, and services best suited to the team’s goals.
The cost of a corporate retreat depends on several factors, including: duration of the experience (2 or more days), number of participants, type of outdoor activity, location and accommodation venue, and included services (logistics, facilitation, photo/video, catering, etc.)
In general, a corporate retreat can range from a few hundred euros per person to more structured experiences, depending on the level of personalization and the services included.
In addition, since a corporate retreat has a training and educational purpose, as well as a recreational one, you may be able to deduct it 100%.
