5 team building in nature
March is finally here: the trees are in bloom, the weather has changed and, even though it is still a little unpredictable, the mirage of warm, bright days feels more and more real. Your employees look nostalgically out of the window and can’t wait to be in the sun, instead of being closed inside the four walls of the office.
You, dear company leader, might feel the same way.
At WildSteps, we have an idea: why not organize an outdoor team building ? Wouldn’t it be a great way to spend time outdoors while having fun, relaxing and, at the same time, improving team cohesion and productivity?
What? You don’t know how to do it? Don’t worry, we’ve already thought about it.
Here are a few activities that might interest you:
- orienteering: a challenge in the woods to learn how to navigate and work as a team.
- eco trekking: immerse yourself in nature and discover biodiversity!
- cleanup: after a clean-up activity in the woods or on the beach, nature will thank you.
- wine&ride: if you love the countryside and tastings, this is the team building experience for you!
- walkshop: let nature inspire you and boost your creativity with our outdoor workshops!
Let us tell you about our experiences
As you may have understood, there are so many activities you can do. But wait: before investing in an outdoor team building you may rightly want to make sure it delivers practical results. No problem! We have gathered a few stories from our experiences for you:
Orienteering
With MoneySurfers, we organized an orienteering challenge in the Pian di Spagna Nature Reserve, to strengthen team cohesion and increase environmental awareness.
After a delicious gourmet break, we moved on to a workshop designed to optimize business processes and group synergies, focusing especially on financial sustainability.
Eco-trekking
For World Cleanup Day, together with CMA CGM and TheBlackBag, we organized a clean-up and Walking for Science activity at Parco delle Mura in Genoa. During the trek, participants collected waste and helped record the local fauna and flora using the iNaturalist app.
Thanks to this activity, we were able to increase the environmental awareness of the CMA CGM team and contribute to biodiversity monitoring.
Clean-up
A clean-up is a group activity that benefits both your team and the planet: your employees will not only have to collaborate in a new situation, but will also contribute to cleaning up the environment.
During this type of team building experience, the RINA team cleaned Sturla beach, helping support the ecological restoration of the area.
Wine&Ride
We collaborated with Nivola to create a team building on two wheels. The team explored the Biella area, cycling between the Ricetto di Candelo and the Baragge Reserve.
We also organized a treasure hunt based on discovering biodiversity. The experience ended with a pleasant wine tasting at Castello di Montecavallo, where we enjoyed a wonderful view and a renewed sense of community.

Walkshop
A walkshop is a relaxing experience during which the team can focus on topics that matter to the company, such as leadership, problem-solving and effective communication, without giving up a walk in nature.
This team building experience turns nature into an open-air classroom, able to inspire us and teach us something new.
By now, you’ve probably understood: WildSteps has a solution for every need.
These are just some of the team building experiences we offer, but on our website you’ll find many more, suitable for every season!
