Alten Group - Escape Wood al Lago Laceno

Half a day of navigation, strategy and nature: a team mission in the heart of Lake Laceno

When Alten Group asked us to organize an experience for their team, the direction was clear: step out of the routine.

The answer? An orienteering experience.

Who, how many and where

Objectives

Finding the way by building it together

Mission #1

Put the team in front of a concrete challenge, requiring them to share information, listen to different points of view and make decisions together.

Mission #2

Encourage shared leadership, adaptability and mutual trust through an experience away from the everyday work environment.

Where the magic happened

The Sentiero dell’Agrifoglio trail runs across the Laceno plateau, at an altitude of approximately 1,100 meters. The route winds through a beautiful beech forest on the slopes of Mount Raiamagra, alternating gentle ascents and descents with sweeping views of the Cervarolo and Cervialto mountains, before reaching the Acernese plateau.

The Adventure in a Nutshell

We transformed the Laceno beech forest into a vast exploration ground, where every choice could bring the team closer to its destination. Here’s how:

  • Maps in hand: after the initial briefing, the group learned the rules of the mission and the tools needed to navigate the route.
  • Hunting for the right checkpoints: divided into teams, participants tackled the trail in search of control points, deciding together on directions, strategies and priorities.
  • Strategy in motion: speed and intuition were important, but not as much as the ability to communicate, read the terrain and adapt the plan along the way.

A challenge where simply following the fastest person was not enough: reaching the destination required listening, coordination and a compass pointing towards the same goal.

The result?
BOOM!
