When the sea becomes the team’s playground.
For the TWOW team, we had a simple mission: spend time together, have fun and discover more about the area around us.
So, for half a day, Domus Mare in Bogliasco was transformed into a huge playground between land and sea, where 55 participants competed in snorkeling challenges, treasure hunts and nature quizzes.
Because yes: you can learn about Ligurian biodiversity with a mask and snorkel too.
Who, how many and where
- 55 participants ready to get involved
- Half a day of sea, challenges and biodiversity
- Domus Mare, Bogliasco, in the heart of the Ligurian coast
Objectives
Finding the way by building it together
Mission #1
Create a moment of pure fun and connection, giving the team the chance to experience a day that was different from the usual routine.
Mission #2
Turn the local area and its biodiversity into something to observe, explore and discover firsthand.
Where the magic happened
At Villa Domus Mare in Bogliasco, overlooking the Ligurian Sea.
Here, the sea was not simply the backdrop to the day, but the true protagonist of the experience: an environment to explore, observe and learn to understand together.
The Adventure in a Nutshell
Here is how we turned a day by the sea into a team challenge:
- Team division: the 55 participants were divided into teams, ready to earn points challenge after challenge.
- Snorkeling Challenge: masks, snorkels and eyes wide open to explore the stretch of coastline and take on challenges in the water. The teams searched for clues hidden in the sea while learning to observe the coastline and collect information like real scientists.
- Nature Quiz: once back on land, the competition continued with questions, facts and stories about Ligurian ecology and biodiversity.
- Final challenge: points were added up, the rankings were in hand and there was only one goal: reach the top. Although, by the end of the day, the real victory was probably managing to forget about the office for a few hours.
A new perspective on the local area: above and below sea level.
A deeper understanding of local biodiversity, without a traditional lecture in sight.
And a half-day experience that became a shared memory for the entire team.
