Outdoor team building: what is it?

Outdoor team building is a corporate activity organized outdoors, designed to improve your team’s internal dynamics, such as collaboration, communication, andproactivity, whilealso supporting employee well-being..

What makes outdoor team building unique is that, in addition to working on group dynamics, it leverages the benefits of contact with nature, generating positive effects on participants’ physical and mental well-being.

In addition, when carried out sustainably, it can also increase participants’ environmental awareness and contribute to practices such as ecological restoration and nature conservation.

In short, outdoor team building is good for your employees’ health and for your company’s progress, but also for the planet!

The benefits of our activities for corporate well-being

At WildSteps, we organize fun and regenerative activities in contact with nature. We truly have something for everyone!

Here are some of our experiences and how they can be useful for you:

Eco-trekking and environmental awareness

Eco-trekking is an incredibly stimulating activity: thanks to gamification and apps such as iNaturalist, it is possible to learn many things about nature in a dynamic and creative way.

This type of team building can increase your employees’ environmental awareness and help you align their mindset with your company’s green policies.

Clean-up and orienteering: proactivity and communication

A clean-up consists of cleaning a natural environment, such as a beach or a forest: the group works together to make the area more beautiful and ecologically sustainable.

This team-building activity is perfect for working on collaboration: unity is strength! It also has the great advantage of doing good for the planet while we work on ourselves.

Orienteering is similar to a treasure hunt, where participants need to act in harmony to overcome the challenges proposed.

It is an opportunity to develop collaboration, but not only that: it also tests people’s ability to adapt to unfamiliar situations, stimulating the proactivity of all team members.

Walkshop, leadership and problem solving

WildSteps workshops are innovative because they take place outdoors: nature is our classroom and teacher, a constant source of inspiration that allows us to work creatively on leadership, problem-solving, and corporate sustainability.

...and there’s much more!

We have explored some of the initiatives offered by WildSteps, but there are many more!

For example, if sport is your passion, you could try kayaking and, if you also love tastings, why not treat yourself to a wine&ride?
